The Container Store Blogger Preview Event
I think we all know how much I love organization. Remember my closet project and pantry makeover? So, I’m not even slightly embarrassed to share that I straight up shrieked with excitement when The Container Store (yes, an entire store literally dedicated to organization) invited me to their Blogger Preview Event at their very first Wisconsin store.
In case you’re unfamiliar, The Container Store is a massive retailer dedicated to all things organization. And, when I say massive, I mean massive. Their new Wisconsin store is 25,000 square feet!
I attended their Blogger Preview Event last week Thursday, and the grand opening of the store was the following Saturday. During the event, we got to hear more about The Container Store’s history, eat a delicious lunch, take a tour of the entire facility, and — of course — network with other bloggers. There was also a fancier cocktail party that evening, but I was unable to attend.
I always knew that I loved The Container Store, but hearing more about their company really sealed the deal for me. They provide their full-time and part-time employees with hundreds of hours of training in order to ensure that they can provide the best help and advice for guests.
Also, they partner with a local nonprofit for each of their store openings. For the opening of this store, they partnered with the Junior League of Milwaukee, and 10% of all Grand Opening Weekend sales were donated. I thought that community-focused attitude was pretty darn cool!
Of course, the main thing that needs to be mentioned is the amazing array of products they offer. For an organization nut like me, The Container Store is essentially heaven on earth. Since we couldn’t actually shop at the event, I’ve been filling up my online shopping cart with all of the things I want to buy — like this amazing travel system and these adorable drawers for my office goodies. I currently have 16 items in my cart. It’s a problem.
If you don’t have The Container Store near you, you’re free to shop online as well! They currently have free shipping on orders of $75 or more. And, trust me, reaching that limit is far too easy.
Now, brace yourself for tons of pictures of this beautiful and orderly store. I feel as if I should reorganize our entire house now.
Until next time!
